Updated 1/30/15 – this event has been postponed.
Intersectionality is about unique experiences we have as individuals – as identifying with both one label and another, and experiencing the associated oppression and discrimination – as well as unique community and bonding – that are part of each of those aspects of our lives. In this discussion we will explore the intersection of being both female and secular.
Join us for a discussion regarding Women in Faith: The Secular Perspective. We will be exploring how secularism has been influential in building and shaping us into the women we are and our observations of this influence in our families and communities.
If you would like to join in the discussion, please RSVP on our Meetup or contact BEOrlando@live.com to RSVP – we’ll respond with the location. This event is free to attend (self-pay for items ordered), women-only, adult-only, smoke-free.
